Mother pleads for help finding missing 12-year-old-son in Southeast DC

A Southeast D C mother is asking for the population s help in finding her -year-old son who went missing Sunday morning after leaving home to walk the family dog Demetri Montgomery who has autism was last seen near the block of C Street SE around a m His mother Cynthia Walton reported he left to walk the family s white pit bull Skyla but never returned I ve been looking for him since about seven this morning Walton revealed I ve been driving around putting out flyers passing flyers out to people walking down the street to see if anybody s seen him Locality members have joined the search spending the day canvassing neighborhoods and helping Walton distribute flyers Flyer disclosed by D C police for missing -year-old Demetri Montgomery Courtesy DC Police Montgomery is described as a Black male tall weighing pounds with a medium brown complexion black hair and brown eyes He was last seen wearing a green and gray jacket black sweatpants with white stripes down the sides and dark blue sneakers Walton stated her son is verbal and approachable He s very very friendly He s very polite she mentioned He s not a runaway He don t even go outside to play or anything She added that while the dog is friendly it may be protective of Demetri The dog is friendly but she is protective of Demetri Walton disclosed Walton urged anyone who sees her son to call police She also had a message for her son Demetri if you re listening just come home You not in trouble you not gonna get yelled at or anything Just come back home Source
